[this is like the third time today that Sorey has fallen into the ocean so he at least has the reflexive instinct to hold his breath and not get a mouthful of seawater

he's still ending up in the water which is unfortunate, but he gives Mikleo a little push further under to make sure that he comes up first]

[he feels Mikleo's fingers snag on his ankle briefly, but it's not strong enough to pull him back; Mikleo crawls spluttering back onto the beach after him, probably to the amusement of the watching seals.]

[the seals are a good peanut gallery, especially since they keep coming closer to sniff for more food]

We did find seals, so I think luck's on my side today. Nothing wrong with a little confidence after this, right?

[successfully gets the seal to climb up onto Sorey's legs to get the fish >D]

Well...Aside from the crushing weight it's pretty comfortable.

...tell me if you actually need to get the weight off and I'll lure Mr. Seal here away somehow. I don't actually want you to never feel your legs again.

It's fine for now. It's heavy, but not so heavy that it's going to crush me completely.

You just might have to carry me back to the base.
