[he's hiding a smile, poorly, nudging the waves some to bring them back in toward shore. yes, the seal is coming too]

[heaving a sigh that's just a little too loud and overdramatic to be real as he pushes himself back up onto shore and offers Mikleo a hand]

He still can't have all of it. That's lunch!

[takes his hand to heave himself up, half-laughing; the seal snuffles in the shallows, not following them up all the way]

Better not let it get into your bag too much, then...hey, he doesn't quite look like an Earth seal, does he?

[scooting far enough away from the edge that he won't be shoved back in again before peering over at the seal to compare it to the pictures of Earth seals]

No way, he's way bigger than an Earth seal. Fluffier too, I think. Theirs don't have this much fur.

I wasn't expecting to find even this close a match...

...you'd better find more fish if you want to keep him here, I think.

There's always a catch. Don't let him swim off, I'll go find something.

[NUDGES HIM TO TAKE MORE PHOTOS TOO while he looks around for fish. there are no fish on the island, obviously, so he scoots over to see if he can spot any swimming around in the water nearby]

[by the time he gets back Mikleo has wound up backed onto the beach again, his legs trapped under the seal and the seal thoroughly investigating the camera with its big dumb nose; he's laughing, though]

[the sight is enough to make Sorey laugh too, though he's able to lure it away fast enough with the smell of spicy hoopfish]

I thought he wanted fish, not a camera.

That's what I thought too...

[stays sprawled on the sand, taking more photos from that angle instead; not even bothering to try and rescue his dignity for once]

[he doesn't need that dignity anyways!! Sorey feeds the seal just enough to distract it before flopping down next to Mikleo and letting the sun dry him off]

Your charming personality must have won him over.

Then it's a compliment! You were the one who mentioned the fish smell, not me.

[rolls over and STARTS TRYING TO TICKLE HIM IN EARNEST, possibly to dodge that]

[yelps and smacks at his hands, kicking up sand as he tries to wiggle out of Mikleo's reach]

[nope. trying his best to pin him with his knees and one hand, tickling relentlessly with the other; he's laughing]

[Sorey's laughing too, although it's breathless and involuntary as he tries to un-pin himself and retaliate in kind, going for Mikleo's sides with both hands even as he tries to push some space between them]

[he hits the mark; Mikleo tries his best to fend him off, but with Sorey moving around so much he winds up tumbling off him and back to the sand instead

this just means it's Sorey's turn to pin him and tickle him, although he tries to learn from Mikleo's mistakes and tries to snatch up Mikleo's hands with one of his own]

[Mikleo's able to dodge a bit better at first, but Sorey is a CHEATER and has BIGGER HANDS to catch his with...soon he's laughing so hard he can't breathe or even really try to get away from him, tearing up a little with it]

[it's effective!!! but not as effective as Sorey would like--he's laughing too hard to do too much tickle damage with only one hand. he has to stop to catch his breath, resting his head on Mikleo's shoulder and trying to muffle his laughs]

Looks like I win this one.

[he's still kind of wheezing, but he does loop both arms around Sorey weakly]
