Sorey can sense something referred to as malevolence! To shamelessly take from Mikleo's post, this is spiritual impurity caused by negative deeds/thoughts, without a powerful tempering belief in their rightness/necessity. Malevolence can make him feel queasy or even ill in high concentrations, and it's part of his duties as a Shepherd to purify it. If someone pings has having a ton of malevolence he'll want to investigate. If this is something you'd like to play with, please feel free to indicate it in your tags! If your character would register as malevolent but you don't want to play with it, that's perfectly fine as well--it's easy to say that characters being from different worlds means it's not always something he can sense.

My default is to assume that a character does not ping as malevolent unless it's specifically indicated to me. If people could respond to this for my general reference it would help me out!

Would your character register as malevolent? Can Sorey sense that?

I'm super easy with however people want to play it out or not, so just let me know!

Definitely! Perhaps, though, he'll come off as low level of simmering? Roderic is an extremely repressed individual and he has a really bad habit of bottling up all his negative feelings/thoughts thanks to his powers being tied with his powers. He at least is a even tempered/righteous to not want to use his powers for bad or want to do bad period. He's just. Really wound up and bitter and angry under his calm facade. Sorey is more than welcomed to interpret Roderic and what he picks up differently though!

I think she would a bit at least! She's done things like DESTROY ENTIRE WORLDS while hating it and knowing it's wrong. She's also had her faith shaken in the things she used to believe she did right and no longer thinks she's actually done much good at all and actually hurt people instead.

I'll probably repeat what I said for Mikleo, but for the most part, no? What negative thoughts she has are more mundane ones, and tend to be passing rather than things she mills over and obsesses about. As far as actions and deeds, she's not prone to doing things she actively feels or believes to be wrong from her perspective. She's very much a necessity person, up to and including when she gets into fights/kills, but I kind of leave this up to you to decide if and when he picks up on anything (in narration) or not!

Michiru's canon point is pre-child murder plans, and her dedication to her job offsets the worst of her thoughts, so I think probably not.

Repeating what I said to Mikleo, I'd say Sorey could sense malevolence in him as Dirk basically struggles against being malevolent and shitty all the time, and often feels like he's failing at it and doubts himself. He's like an anti-Symonne.

Would your character register as malevolent? Can Sorey sense that? NOPE Dave is a genuinely decent guy...or he tries to be, anyway. I figured I may as well reply anyway tho.
